Kunnioitan joogan historiaa ja pid\u00e4n filosofian opiskelua merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4n\u00e4 osana joogaharjoitustani; olen kiitollinen siit\u00e4, miten paljon voimme nyky\u00e4\u00e4n omaksua tietoa ja kirjoituksia joogasta my\u00f6s omalla \u00e4idinkielell\u00e4mme. Sanottakoon viel\u00e4, ett\u00e4 &#8220;minun joogani&#8221; on el\u00e4v\u00e4 kokonaisuus, jossa en pyri erist\u00e4ytym\u00e4\u00e4n mist\u00e4\u00e4n tai julistamaan mit\u00e4\u00e4n yht\u00e4 totuutta &#8211; sit\u00e4 vastoin tuntuu, ett\u00e4 luottamus siihen, ett\u00e4 voin ilment\u00e4\u00e4 omaa itse\u00e4ni juuri sellaisena kun kussakin hetkess\u00e4 ja tilanteessa olen, osana valtavaa el\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4 organismia, kasvaa pikku hiljaa ja opin esitt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n etenkin itselleni yh\u00e4 kiinnostavampia kysymyksi\u00e4, joihin alkaa sitten taas etsi\u00e4 vastauksia.\u00a0<br><br>Jooga on opettanut rehellisyytt\u00e4; muistan kuinka er\u00e4s opettajistani sai minut aikanaan todella sitoutumaan harjoitukseeni ja v\u00e4hitellen kun istuimme kerta toisensa j\u00e4lkeen uuteen alkumeditaatioon, asiaa sen enemp\u00e4\u00e4 pohtimatta, huomasin sanottavani harjoituksen ensimm\u00e4isen hetken aina niin, ett\u00e4 &#8220;nyt en kuseta mit\u00e4\u00e4n, m\u00e4 ole t\u00e4ss\u00e4&#8221;. Sittemmin tuo lause on alkanut el\u00e4\u00e4 itse\u00e4\u00e4n todeksi ja v\u00e4lill\u00e4 aina on kiva huomata se, vaikka itse lausetta ei tulekaan en\u00e4\u00e4 niin ahkeraan toisteltua. Omilta opettajiltani olen saanut arvokasta tukea omalla polullani (kiitos mm. Sonja Smederevac, Marjo Wuorisalo, Michael Cramm, Mia Jokiniva, Satu Tuomela, Matti Rautaniemi).
